Week 2 is now over, and progress was made quite well this week. I managed to have my first print and play version ready and out the door for two groups of testers, and get alot of very good data. Heres two sample sheets of the cards used for the print and play version.
After testing, alot of issues were discovered, and the base rules were changes just yesterday. The goal of this next week is to have a second print and play version ready by the weekend (friday again hopefully) and have some more play test data.
I've looked a bit into how to start a kick starter, and it actually seems rather simple in it's most basic form. I think it'll be good if I find a professional artist to bring on to the team before then though, but if not, I can always just do all the art myself.
As a disclaimer, all the art in the project as of now are ripped from Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced. Will defintly not be using them in the finished product of course.
In other news, I've now gotten rejection letters for full time jobs from several of my most hopeful options. Gameloft, Retailmenot, schneider, etc etc. /sigh, guess I'm just not good enough.
Hopefully this project will boost my credentials, I don't know how, but hopefully right?
Gotta try my best, thats all I suppose.
Oh well, until next week!
If you're interested in play testing, be sure to contact me :)
